Long term care is facing financial pressure in most states with two-thirds of Medicaid directors citing a 50-50 change of funding shortfalls. As a result, 46 states are adopting plans that cut and restrict payments to long term care providers in 2012 and 11 more states will have restrictions on long term care programs and services.
